Message from The Editor: Hello and Welcome to Nurture & Nanny’s February Newsletter!

February is already here and I can’t believe how fast 2008 is moving along. January was a great month for us. We started off the New Year with enthusiasm and an appreciation for what was accomplished in the past year. We look forward to the months ahead when we have even more of an opportunity to meet with superb nannies and place them with loving families.

February is a short month filled with celebrations. Valentine's Day and Black History Month give us a lot to celebrate. Participate in Valentine’s Day this year with those you love by baking a heart shaped cake together, making cards with pink and red glitter as a family, or simply spending time with each other.

Honor Black History Month by reading about the rich heritage and accomplishments of African Americans. Take your children or those in your care to the African American Art Festival happening on the 2^nd in Culver City from 10:00-4:00. You can enjoy a show of Capoeira (Afro-Brazilian martial arts), hip hop dancers, live music, spoken word, visual art, and vendors selling food, crafts, and jewelry. Read more at www.ecostation.org.
