Hello and Welcome to Nurture & Nanny's August Newsletter!

Last week I ran into an old friend at the market.  We spent some time catching up and talking about our lives at present.  As I was telling her about the success of Nurture & Nanny, a woman passing by overheard our conversation and decided to join in.  She had just had a baby two weeks ago and was out shopping before heading to the gym.  She told us that having a baby was the greatest thing that ever happened to her and that finding a fantastic nanny was the second best thing that ever happened to her.

Listening to this woman speak about her relationship with her nanny was just wonderful.  Having this woman in her life and in her home helped her regain her sense of self and gave her the time she needed to take care of herself without feeling guilty about it.

I have always wondered if leaving the teaching profession was the right decision in my life.  I really loved the fact that I was doing something that made me feel like I was making a difference in the lives of others.  It's moments like this when I meet a family that is happy because they have the greatest nanny or when I speak with a nanny that loves their job, that I know that I have chosen the right path in my life.  It's a great feeling to know that the nannies that are a part of Nurture & Nanny are helping to make a difference in the lives of others.

Enjoy the rest of your summer!

All the best,

Lara

What if you could understand what your baby was thinking? Wouldn't that be a huge help as you take care of your little one? Well, you don't have to guess anymore!
Choosing a Doctor for your Child
Choosing a physician for your child is something that requires some thought. Whether the physician you choose is a family practitioner or a pediatrician, he or she needs to be someone with whom both you and your child can feel comfortable and trust.
