- Hello and welcome to Nurture & Nanny's September newsletter!
Hope you have had an unforgettable summer and you are ready for an amazing school year!
August was a great month for Nurture & Nanny!
We had the honor of welcoming Deborah's beautiful twin girls and Tracy's bundle of joy into our "family." We wish them all the best and feel privileged to be a part of this new and exciting time in their lives.
Nurture & Nanny is growing in leaps and bounds. I was reading “Stretching Lessons,” by Sue Bender the other day and something she wrote caught my attention: She was commenting on Audrey Hepburn's feet. She mentioned that recently she had read that Audrey had big feet, a size ten. Salvatore Ferragamo, the great Italian shoemaker, designed her shoes, and commented that "she felt comfortable with herself."
"Why not heels?" someone asked. Apparently wearing heels would have made her feet look smaller than the flats she always wore.
Mr. Ferragamo answered, "She didn't want to be anything other than the size she was."
We don't want to be anything other than the size we are. We are not striving to be the biggest ... only the best. And, if we can continue to measure our success with your satisfaction, we're quite happy being a ten.
Thanks for reading!
All the best,
Lara Fogelman
