- Welcome to the first edition of Nurture & Nanny's newsletter.
My name is Lara Fogelman and I am the Co-Founder and CEO of this fine business.
Starting Nurture & Nanny this year was like having a child.
And, like having a child, it all started with questions. Are we ready? Can we afford it? Does this mean no more spontaneous weekend trips?
After spending many years dedicated to the teaching profession and a few more years working as a nanny, I knew I was qualified to run a professional nanny placement business. Having the privilege of working with several of the top agencies in Los Angeles, I had the opportunity to experience, first hand, their strengths and weaknesses. I knew what parents were looking for and I understood what nannies wanted. But was I ready?
We planned, we set up "the nursery" and nine months later - more or less - Nurture & Nanny was born.
Now it wasn't all walks in the park and sunny days..
There were many sleepless nights spent worrying about this new "baby." Are we doing this right? Have we read enough books on the matter? Do we need to consult another expert?
Unforgettable first steps...
Amazing moments...
Our first nanny, our first family, our first placement..
Watching Nurture & Nanny grow truly takes my breath away. With all the amazing feedback and satisfied clients, I feel like a proud parent watching my child perform the lead in the school play and getting a standing ovation.
So, thank you. Thank you for your business, your stories, and your success!
We look forward to the challenges, the accomplishments, and growing through the years with you.
All the best,
Lara Fogelman

Summer vacations seem like a dream come true - no reading! Then the new school year starts and kids realize their reading skills have declined. The secret to improving reading skills is fun, year round reading.
